Halloween Mask Wearing Crook Sticks up Laundromat
By Dan Gesslein
BRONX, NEW YORK (BRONX NEWS)- Was it Halloween's Michael Myers or Leatherface who stuck up an Edenwald laundromat? A surveillance video captured a Halloween mask wearing bandit as he robbed the clerk at gunpoint.
At around 9 p.m. on August 6, the suspect burst into the laundromat at 3960 Laconia Avenue. Wearing a horror mask and brandishing what looked like a semiautomatic weapon, the perp demanded cash. He pushed the clerk behind the counter and rummaged through the till making off with $246 cash.
The robber then fled in a grey Jeep Liberty SUV.
